Census Dates

The census date is important because it is the deadline for:

Finalising your units and course enrolment details
Completing and submitting a Request for Commonwealth Assistance Form for VET Fee-HELP, Fee-HELP or HECS-HELP
Providing a Tax File Number if you have requested a VET Fee-HELP, HECS-HELP or FEE-HELP (if not already provided)
Providing proof of citizenship if requested

Census dates are relevant to the following courses:

TAFE Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma courses*
Undergraduate courses
Postgraduate courses

* TAFE Certificates have different withdrawal and refund rules. Please refer to TAFE Fees - Refund Rules / Amending Your Enrolment
