Graduate Certificate in Learning & Teaching (Higher Education)

Teaching can be inspiring, challenging, demanding and rewarding. Good teachers are valued by their students and by the university. Teaching is also about learning and seeking innovative ideas, knowledge and new ways of developing students.

Swinburne offers the Graduate Certificate in Learning & Teaching (GCLT) as a way for all academic staff to gain more knowledge, to share ideas and to reflect on and develop their own practice. It also provides an opportunity for staff to build their learning and teaching portfolio for promotion or teaching applications.

The GCLT is a program designed for all academic staff. You can choose to complete the first unit, or 4 units for the whole Graduate Certificate.
