Literature Review
This document provides a summary of a collection of literature regarding the factors influencing the design of new learning spaces in educational institutions. Compiled in this document are summaries from each of the key papers that we identified. We identified a total of 114 articles, reports, presentations and books on topics focusing on the design and evaluation of learning spaces. The objective of the review was to provide us with a foundation understanding of current approaches on evaluating learning spaces.

Stakeholder Report
This is a report on interviews conducted with 29 stakeholders from SUT, VU and UQ on their opinions on learning spaces. Stakeholders were selected based on their involvement and experience in learning spaces. Participants ranged from teaching and research academics, non-teaching staff, IT personnel, marketing executives, facilities personnel, librarians and architects. The term learning spaces includes teaching spaces, library study spaces and informal spaces.
