Bruce Findlay is a social psychologist with a particular interest in the
psychology of interpersonal relations, especially marriage. Areas of theoretical
interest include attachment theory applied to adult relationships, romantic
love, humour, and spirituality. Bruce's doctorate dealt with social identity
theory, specifically how any particular social identity becomes salient
in a specific encounter. He is also supervising graduate students in a
range of social psychological areas in addition to those mentioned above,
including father-son relationships, emotional intelligence, job satisfaction,
and characteristics of survivors of major organisational change.
