Information for Swinburne Researchers
Swinburne Research provides a multitude of services to research active staff. The department can provide guidance and assistance for research ethics issues, and Swinburne Research will provide support for researchers in locating and obtaining research funding.
Swinburne requires all new applications for research funding be submitted through Swinburne Research. Prior to submission, Swinburne Research will conduct a review of the application, provide support during the application process and will offer administrative guidance for successful applications, particularly for financial management of awards and contract administration.

- Pre Award Information concerning all aspects of research funding prior to an application being deemed successful: information about how to locate suitable research grants, internal and external funding schemes and Swinburne Research’s grant administration policies and procedures.
- The Research Bulletin A web based bulletin that is produced on a fortnightly basis by Swinburne Research. The Research Bulletin provides information on funding opportunities and news items on all things that are of importance to researchers at Swinburne.
- Online Researcher Induction A publication that has been produced for all new Swinburne Researchers. Contains information on services that Swinburne Research provides and details of Swinburne Research policy and procedure. Hard copies and ‘Research Induction Kits’ are also available. - Media Training for Researchers Free media training is available to all staff and research higher degrees students interested in developing their media interviewing skills. These training sessions are coordinated by Swinburne's Media Unit. Please follow this link for more information.
- Research Ethics Information concerning animal and human research ethics, Swinburne research ethics policy and links to ethics clearance application forms.
- Research Events The Swinburne Research Events Database holds information about all upcoming research related programs, seminars, induction sessions and training sessions. The database allows you to view the details of the event and request a place.
