Biography
Dr Louisa Walsh is a physiotherapist, tertiary educator and public health researcher with research interests including participatory methods, evidence synthesis, health service and system design, and digital health. Louisa is passionate about involving consumers and other stakeholders in health research and health service and system design to ensure that health research and services meet the need of the people and communities who use and work within them. As well as her role at Swinburne, Louisa also holds positions as a Research Fellow at the Centre for Health Communication, La Trobe University, is the Managing Editor for the Cochrane Consumers and Communication Review group, and has an honorary Research Fellow position at the Burnet Institute.
