Biography

Anna Caione teaches in Contemporary Design Issues and Branded Designs.  She holds a MA (Fine Arts by Research), B. Ed (Visual Arts & Design), B.A Fine Arts and Graduate Diploma of Fine Arts, Accademia Albertina, Turin, Italy. 
She has taught for over 25 years in diverse tertiary educational institutions and has worked as an Education Manager at Heide Museum of Modern Art.
Anna has experience and expertise in the Visual Arts and Design gained through exhibitions, postgraduate studies, international travels, and artist residency programs.  In 2022 part of her  research involved a short-term residency at the Castello di Rivoli, museum of contemporary art of Turin, Italy.  
Art and design education are important to the ongoing development of her academic teaching profession and art practice. Her role as an educator and artist encourages interest in the methodology of teaching creative processes applied in both art and design education. 
As a Visual Artist, she has held various solo and group exhibitions and has collaborated with both established curators, emerging artists and art galleries. She has been represented by West End Gallery-Melbourne (2016-2019) and has in the past been represented by Catherine Asquith (2012-15) and Gallery 101, Collins St Melbourne (2004-2011).
