The cell biophysics research area incorporates the use of optical physics to investigate and control the structure and interactions in living cells.
Our vision is to provide a world-class research and training environment at the interface of biology and physics. We aim to:
- use light to probe and perturb macromolecular structure and interactions in living cells
- improve our understanding of diseases, such as cancer, at the molecular level
- provide fundamental knowledge that will ultimately improve well-being.
Our Cell Biophysics - Microscopy Lab is at Swinburne University of Technology.
