Parent research

Swinburne Babylab is interested in gaining a greater understanding of parents’ views, beliefs, and experiences on a range of topics. This is an opportunity to be part of the research process, even if you and your child can't visit us in the lab.

Currently, we are seeking parents of children aged 2-12 years old to participate in a brief survey.

Touch Screen use for children aged 2- 12 years, including children who have an Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

We are currently investigating children's use of touch screen technology and we are interested in how often children use touch screen devices and for what purposes, e.g. for learning activities or games. We are also interested whether there are any differences in touch screen use with children who have an Autistic Spectrum Disorder and whether touch screen technology is used as a platform for delivering therapy programs via applications (apps).

We are interested in hearing parents' views on their child's use of touch screen technology.

The survey should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete. Thank you for taking your time to help us with this research.
