Multivitamins and cognitive function
Vitamins and minerals influence a range of processes in the human body, which are essential for good health, physical strength and mental performance.
The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of a four–week multivitamin supplementation and mineral preparation on brain activity and health. Results will be measured by cognitive function, mood and nutritional status.
Participation will involve attending the Centre for Human Psychopharmacology on three separate occasions. During these sessions, participants will complete a series of cognitive and mood tests and provide blood samples. A smaller group of participants may be invited to take part in an optional brain imaging component (MRI).
We are seeing healthy participants aged 18–40 to take part in this study.
