Upgrading Skills With Graduate Certificates
Delivered by Swinburne's TAFE Division, the Graduate Certificates featured below are postgraduate courses specifically designed to fill the gaps in your professional skills set.
Generally taking 12 months to complete on a part-time basis (or 6 months full-time) they allow you to upgrade your skills without needing to make the demanding time commitment that might be required for a Diploma or Masters degree.
Adding to their flexibility, most of the courses allow you to study part-time and many offer evening or weekend classes. Some even offer an online delivery mode.
They represent an opportunity for you to broaden an existing set of skills or body of knowledge, but can also be an effective way to learn new vocational competencies. And because entry into a program is not generally reliant upon completion of a previous degree, the Graduate Certificate is a suitable option if you don't have a formal academic qualification.
