Susan Stratford - Program Manager
Susan is the Program Manager for the Graduate Certificate of Business Management (Project Management).
She began her career in the tourism industry and moved into education with roles in Melbourne and Hong Kong.
Susan joined the Swinburne team in October 2007 and provides support to students studying this course.
Jim Burrows - Project Management Frameworks
Jim joined the corporate world in 1995 after spending 17 years in the air force industry.
He has worked across many management roles and industries including automotive and aerospace.
Jim has always enjoyed coaching and mentoring roles and couldn’t turn down the opportunity to teach project management at Swinburne.
Ignacio Inchausti
Ignacio is a Senior Project Manager with over 20 years experience working in telecommunications, financial services and retail.
Ignacio holds a Master of Entrepreneurship & Innovation and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Ignacio is also a member of the PMI Melbourne Chapter and has over four years experience as Chapter Board Member.
Mark Roy
Mark has over 20 years experience in the telecommunications industry.
He has worked on a large variety and scale of projects in this field, including the construction of transmission networks.
Mark has been working on online application projects for the last two years. He has recently completed an MBA with Honours (eBusiness and Communications) at Swinburne.
Sue Buck - Microsoft Project
Sue has a background in project management and Microsoft Project.
She has extensive experience in education and training, including a Certificate IV in Workplace Training.
Sue’s clients include Australia Post, City of Kingston, Masterfoods, Freehills, Origin Energy, Brotherhood of St Laurence and Godfrey Hirst.
Christene Kiapekos
Christene has over 17 years experience managing projects and process improvement programs.
She has worked across the banking, insurance, stockbroking, IT and public service sectors.
Christene is also a member of the Australian Institute of Project Management and the Association of Manufacturing Excellence.
She holds an Applied Science Degree with a mathematics major, Graduate Diploma of Secondary Education, Master of Project Management and a Master of Business.
Phil Nash
Phil has 20 years experience in banking, finance and health related companies.
Phil is a Certified Practicing Program Director with the Australian Institute of Project Managers (AIPM).
His career highlights include winning the 2004 AIPM Victorian Project of the Year and subsequent 2004 AIPM Australian Project of the Year.
Phil is a passionate project practitioner who enjoys the people side of projects.
He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours), Graduate Diploma in Computer Science and Graduate Diploma in Education.
Vel Ganapathy
Vel has worked in project management across public and private sectors, government, banking, and renewable energy.
He has an educational background in engineering including a Masters in Information Technology and his passion has been to create awareness of program management and project governance.
Vel’s eagerness compliments his corporate training experience and he takes pride in the training programs he delivers at Swinburne.
