About the course

The Graduate Certificate of Business Management (Project Management) has been designed to look closely at project management concepts, methodologies and project cycles used across all industries.

The course will suit you if you’re currently working as a Project Officer or Manager and are looking to gain a specialised qualification and managerial skills.

The course forms the first stage of the Graduate Diploma of Business Management and the Master of Business Management. You’ll have to opportunity to progress through these stages to reach your desired qualification.

Course delivery

Each unit will require you to attend one evening class per week at the Hawthorn campus.

Some units will require you to attend Saturday classes.

Industry

A recent salary survey found that Project Managers are earning more than they were two years ago.

As the industry is expected to grow, having a postgraduate qualification on your resume will help you stand out from the competition.

You’ll have an edge over others and be provided with formal recognition, increased knowledge and the skills to progress further in your career.

What will I Study?

The course is made up of four units:

The units are usually studied on a part-time basis with the choice of studying one or two units each semester.

The units must be completed in order as they each build upon the material in previous units.
