Graduate Certificate of Business Management

The Graduate Certificate of Business Management gives you the the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in management that support critical thinking, practical application, business operations, strategic thinking and decision making.

Choose from electives which cover specialist business knowledge, leadership and management skills at both middle and senior levels.

The course forms the first stage of the Graduate Diploma Business Management and the Master of Business Management.

You’ll have to opportunity to progress through these stages to reach your desired qualification.

Course delivery


The course is delivered on-campus, online and in block mode.

Some Saturday classes are offered and some elective units may require attendance at a Saturday workshop.

Classes are delivered at either Hawthorn or Prahran.

What will I study?


The Graduate Certificate of Business Management is made up of four units:

The units are usually studied on a part-time basis with the choice of studying one or two units each semester.

There may also be the option to study all four units full-time in one semester.

You must complete all four units successfully to progress into the Graduate Diploma of Business Management.
