Can I move between TAFE and uni?
Our pathways provide an easier transition from TAFE to uni, allowing you to receive credits for what you’ve already learned.
We offer two types of pathways into university degrees:
Swinburne Pathways Direct |
Guaranteed Entry Scheme |
| These are purpose-built education pathways that take you from Swinburne TAFE into a Swinburne degree program. Because you move within Swinburne, you do not have to apply through VTAC. | This is a brand new initiative. We'll have more details soon. |
What about moving from uni to TAFE?
Of course, it’s not all in one direction. Lots of university students choose to complement their degree studies with additional hands-on training from TAFE courses.
For example, many students have chosen to add a Diploma of Sustainability to their degrees in Business, Science and Engineering.
