Planet Swinburne Logo "Developing healthier, cheaper and greener transport for Swinburne staff and students"

Swinburne's Green Travel Plan is the result of a collaboration between TravelSmart and Swinburne University of Technology (SUT) which began in February 2006. It will be the main driving force for improvements to Swinburne's sustainable travel profile.

TravelSmart Workplaces is the Victorian State Government's voluntary travel behaviour change program helping employers to reduce the financial and environmental impacts of their organisation's travel choices, both in staff commuting and in travel for work during business hours.

Swinburne University of Technology's participation in Travel Smart is an initiative of the Sustainability Covenant with EPA Victoria.
