Philip Island Nature Park Management Plan
2006-2011
Purpose/Aim
The Phillip Island Nature Park is responsible for the conservation and protection of 1,805 hectares of land including the attractions of the famous Penguin Parade, Koala Reserve, Churchill Island and Cape Woolamai . The nature park set out to develop a comprehensive management plan for the period 2006-2011.
While excellent conservation outcomes have been achieved in the 2000-2005 period, the park is looking to adopt a broader sustainability focus and engaged the NCS to help shape their management plan for the following 5 years.
