Purpose/Aim
The purpose of this project is to conduct
competency assessments for Parks Victoria’s Service Delivery
staff, and facilitate and conduct training based on skills needs.
Project Background
This project involves working closely with Parks Victoria’s
Rangers, Field Service Officers and Business Admin Personnel throughout
Victoria, to ensure that assessment and training aligns with the
national training system.
The customised assessment and training process and the materials
supporting this project will:

Identify workforce capacity so
that it is matched to key objectives of job requirements and
is managed consistently across Victoria |

Recognise and record required skills

Ensure skills development programs
instigated are consistent with National training packages
and enterprise specific competencies |

Align remuneration and skills |
 |
Provide critical skills and knowledge
to staff working with Parks Victoria |

Promote professionalism within
the workforce |

Contextualise generic training
package course material to incorporate enterprise specific
competencies |

Incorporate a national perspective
to skills development |
