Sustainable House Day

For the last four years the Australian & New Zealand Solar Energy Society (ANZSES) has organised and coordinated Sustainable House Day to promote sustainability and energy efficiency in buildings throughout Australia and New Zealand. This major community event used to be called “Solar House Day”. It has recently been renamed Sustainable House Day – SHD in recognition of the broader areas of sustainable residential living that are often demonstrated, e.g. water saving and reuse, recycled material and other renewable energy features.
