Environmental Science Expo

Over the next two months the Victorian Curriculum Assessment Authority (VCAA), in conjunction with the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) of Victoria, will be coordinating a series of State-wide Environmental Science Expos. The aim of the expo is to provide hands on activities for Year 9 and 10 students to increase awareness of environmental responsibility and to inform students of further study options in environmental science and related fields.

Swinburne has been approached to coordinate a two day expo at the Croydon Campus during September 7th and 8th. The event will feature a series of practical fun workshops and careers advice which we hope will entice students to study with Swinburne in the future.

The National Centre for Sustainability are seeking facilitators from HEd and TAFE to run half to one hour workshops. If you have any ideas, projects or activities that you would like to promote we would love to hear from you!
