NCS worked with a wide range of stakeholders from government, industry, Industry Skills Councils, ITABS, RTOs and environmental educators to develop the Guideline Standards.

The Guideline Competency Standards for Sustainability are standards by which Industry Skill Councils can deliver education for sustainable development to industry by delivering them as units of competency within nationally recognised training packages, where there previously were none.

These Guideline Standards will be discussed in the network to increase awareness and to guide participants through implementation into training packages.
