Forum Details

NET Working for Sustainability forums are provided as an opportunity to receive information and training which is relevant to teaching needs and training packages, focussing on sustainability and environmental management. Three separate forums were conducted in 2006 on energy, water and waste, and consisted of keynote speakers, workshops and activities. Click here for details on the next forum.

FORUM 1 - ENERGY

Summary

The Energy Forum had a great turnout and proved to be a very successful day. All presentations provided insightful information on energy related issues (refer to links below), and network goals and objectives were discussed with valuable contributions made by participants.

Summary

Based on feedback from participants, the Water Forum was extremely interesting, interactive and informative. All presentations and workshop activities were engaging and provided participants with some differing perspectives on water management issues, and techniques on how integrate sustainability into the workplace and into training. Another successful day!!

Summary

The Waste Forum followed a similar fomat to the previous two forums, which involved both presentations and workshop activities. The forum revolved around how to engage the interest of individuals and organisations to become more waste concious, and how to implement programs and attitudes which help to promote a waste wise culture.
