Andrew Rickard

Born: Melbourne, Australia

Role: Researcher and writer

Andrew's background includes the development of National Standards for sustainability education within the Vocational Education system within Australia and the development of ecological footprint assessment tools. He has worked for the past 5 years promoting environmental education nationally and internationally.


Eider Huertas

Born: San Sebastian, Spain

Role: Researcher and writer

Eider's background includes work with a number of social development community organisations. She has been actively involved in promoting pacific resolutions to Basque conflict and supporting the rights of asylum seekers and refugees in Australia . Eider has extensive experience in recruitment and training for disabled people to promote individual independence and participation in the workforce.


Kathryn Donnelly

Born: Melbourne, Australia

Role: Editing and project support

Kathryn has worked in the National Centre for Sustainability at Swinburne University for the past 4 years to raise awareness of sustainability issues and promote education. She also works in a voluntary capacity with a Melbourne based soup van to assist homeless and disadvantaged people. Kathryn is currently completing a Graduate Certificate in Arts (Writing) and will undertake the role of editing the memoirs.
