Describe what the environment looked like when you were young?
When I was young most families had only one car. There was more parking and less noise, people normally rode bikes or walked.
What has changed since that time?
The cost of petrol has gone up and there is less parking and more noise. Most families have 2-4 cars.
How and why has it changed?
People can afford more cars now and we are used to using them. With the population growing, people are living further and further away, where public transport can’t reach them.
What caused the change?
Population growth has caused many people to live further away, that means that they have to drive into the cities. People are becoming more greedy saying "I must have a car", " must have this, I must have that".
How does it make you feel?
I feel frustrated having to use a car for everyday life. I would like to walk or ride my bike to work but I’m unable to because I live to far away. I like the idea of one car a family.
