NCS: Transforming the way we live and work
A Centre for Sustainability was first established at Swinburne University of Technology in June 2001. By late 2002, this had evolved into the specialist centre the National Centre for Sustainability (NCS): a collaboration of several tertiary educational institutions bringing together a dedicated network of individuals to further develop and promote sustainability concepts and education.

The National Centre for Sustainability at Swinburne delivers quality educational programs and works in partnership with industry, government and community to support the development and implementation of sustainable practices. The NCS offers a range of services including:

Education for Sustainability is an emerging but dynamic concept that encompasses a new vision of education.
