8 February 2007 - NanoVic invests in novel water probe at Swinburne.
Dr Paul Stoddart's chemical sensing group, Nanotechnology Victoria and OptoTech Pty Ltd are to develop a portable high-sensitivity probe for the detection of
contaminants in water based on their surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) probes. The proposed program will develop a prototype of a field instrument for
the rapid detection of contaminants. The product to be developed would supply a currently un-met demand for field instrumentation.
