 The Learning and Teaching Good Practice Database has been developed in recognition of existing good practice at Swinburne University. There are many examples of innovative approaches to teaching and this is an opportunity for sharing experience. We hope that this site that will stimulate ideas for quality teaching in those who wish to enhance their own teaching practice.

Students are taught explicit guidelines of how to run a discussion. Through the process students take responsibility for running and monitoring discussions. The model incorporates self, peer, and tutor feedback and promotes deeper learning of subject content.
