“As an Environmental Health Officer (EHO) for the City of Kingston I've inspected food premises, audited the infection control technique of a tattooist and investigated noise and odour complaints.

While many EHOs find employment with local councils, a significant number are employed by state health and environmental agencies, the armed forces, large food companies and private consultancies. EHOs are also in demand by the Red Cross and other relief agencies for work overseas in natural disaster areas.”
