Anxiety Online is a comprehensive online mental health service offering assistance regarding the anxiety disorders, which includes:
- Psycho-educational information about the anxiety disorders, links to other mental health resources, and the healthcare professional portal registration page
- The gateway into the online psychological assessment system (e-PASS), the online clinical treatment programs, the online eTherapist training program and the eTherapist and healthcare professional portal
Anxiety Online: Online Psychological Assessment System (e-PASS)
e-PASS is a freely available self-administered online psychological assessment system that assesses for 21 mental health disorders, including:
Panic disorder with or without agoraphobia, agoraphobia without panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, specific phobia, generalised anxiety disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, depression, anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, somatisation, body dysmorphic disorder, pathological gambling, insomnia, hypersomnia, alcohol dependence, and substance dependence (cannabis, sedatives, stimulants, opioids)
Once you have finished the online psychological assessment you will receive a report (e-PASS summary form) outlining the type and severity of any of the 21 mental health disorders that you may currently be experiencing. You are also provided with appropriate treatment information and you can print out the e-PASS summary form and bring it with you to your GP or health care professional should you wish.
Anxiety Online: Online clinical treatment programs (eTherapies)
Currently, Anxiety Online offers five online clinical treatment programs for:
- Generalised Anxiety Disorder
- Social Anxiety Disorder
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
- Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
- Panic Disorder with or without Agoraphobia
We offer free fully automated self-help versions to adults nationally and internationally and low cost therapist-assisted (via email correspondence) versions to Australian residents only.
We will soon be offering clinical treatment programs via randomised controlled trials for:
- Depression
- Bulimia Nervosa
- Problem Gambling
- Insomnia
