Darren Tofts is a well-known cultural critic who writes regularly for a
range of national and international publications on issues to do with
cyberculture, new media arts and critical and cultural theory.
Formerly an editorial correspondent
for 21C magazine, he is a member of the editorial boards of Postmodern
Culture , Continuum. The Australian Journal of Media and Culture, fibreculture
journal , Rhizomes and RealTime, where he is a commissioning editor for
new media arts.
Dr Tofts is an Associate
Professor and Chair of Media and
Communications at Swinburne
University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia.
His teaching and research interests include the areas of Media Arts,
Cyberculture ,
Critical and Cultural Theory and
Cultural Convergence
