Social Psychology Research Unit
The Social Psychology Research Unit (SPRU) conducts basic and applied research using the theories and methods of social psychology to examine Australians' views on issues involving health, science, technology, organisational behaviour, and the environment.
We are particularly interested in:
- Public perceptions of science, scientists and the commercialization of science
- Public perceptions of health professionals, medical advances and health care systems
- Social attitudes and the environment
- Social context of work
- Social trust
