Low-Cost Counselling and Clinical Psychology ServicesHelp is on the way: Support for individuals, couples and families in the community
People seek counselling for many reasons. Typically people seek counselling when they feel (or know) they aren’t happy. Sometimes the reason is as general as not feeling good, while other times people identify very specific reasons, such as the loss of a job or difficulity in personal relationships. Either way, counselling can provide the long- or short-term support to help you feel they way you want to and help you through difficult times. Each year the Swinburne Psychology Clinic provides over 500 members of the Melbourne community with low-cost counselling and clinical psychology services.
Appointments are made by contacting reception. People are typically seen by a counsellor within two to three days of their initial contact with the Clinic. There is no waitlists for the Clinic's individual, couple and family counselling service.
