How to recruit IBL students
Benefits for your organisation
- Submit a Position Description. You will then be contacted by the IBL Manager, and the position will be advertised on our Intranet to eligible students
- Applicants will be forwarded to you to enable you to shortlist and arrange interviews directly with students
- You will advise the successful applicant of the outcome and engage them via your normal staffing processes or via IBL scholarship
The best time to advertise to submit a Position Description is April for placements commencing midyear, and August for placements commencing the following year.
Industry Partners make all the recruitment decisions and provide an industry supervisor and training to perform the job. IBL Placement can commence midyear or end of year (Nov to Feb) for a period of 6 or 12 months
We provide guidance to Industry Partners and provide an academic supervisor to visit the student once per semester
- Allows completion of short and long term projects in a cost effective way
- Enables access to enthusiastic and skilled undergraduate and potential future employees
- Partner with Swinburne and contribute to training emerging professionals
