Student boot camps 2012
In 2012 the Faculty of Life and Social Sciences will run "boot camps" targeted specific groups of our students. Newly enrolled students, international students, students making the transition from TAFE and students who have previously experienced difficulty with their studies are invited to attend the tailored boot camps.
The boot camps are totally free and will cover such vital topics as:
- Strategies for studying successfully at University
- How to get the most out of Lectures and Tutorials/ Workshops/ Seminars
- How to write academic essays and reports
- How to make full use of the Library and all online resources
- How to prepare for oral tutorial and seminar presentations
- How to prepare for tests and exams
- Details of boot camp for "At Risk" students
- Details of boot camp for former TAFE students
- Details of boot camp for newly enrolled 2012 students
- Details of boot camp for newly enrolled international students
