PERCEPTUAL CHANGES IN PARENTS OF INFANTS
Investigators: Dr Jordy Kaufman, Judy Russell & Joanne Tarasuik
You are invited to participate in a study of changes in perception in new parents. The study involves answering an online survey now and a similar survey after your baby is born. Each generally take about 5 minutes to complete.
The questionnaire includes questions about you, your children and your pets. To be eligible to participate in the survey, the following must be true:
1. You are at least 18 years old.
2. You or your partner are currently pregnant and are expecting a baby in the next 9 months.
3. You currently are the parent of a child (10 years or younger) and/or have a pet dog or cat that lives with you.
Any information you will provide will be accessed only by the researchers. While your own answers will remain anonymous, overall results from the pool of respondents may be presented in scientific publications, presented for academic audiences, used for teaching purposes and disseminated to the media. If you would like to be informed of our research findings once the study is complete, please indicate so at the end of the survey when prompted.
Should you have any questions regarding the study please contact Dr. Jordy Kaufman of the Brain Sciences Institute on +61 3 9214 5757 or by email at jkaufman@swin.edu.au.
