Brain Sciences Institute

The Brain Sciences Institute is recognised by Swinburne University as one of its 6 Tier One Research Centres/Institutes and, is as a consequence, a significant focus of research endeavours within the university.

The principle aim of the Institute (BSI) is to conduct high quality research in human neuroscience and to advance knowledge in this area. In order to do this we have brought together a multi-disciplinary team of researchers across several different disciplines and areas of expertise that include physicists, psychologists, psychophysiologists, biophysicists and neuroscientists.
