The Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) and Body Image Research Group at Swinburne University focuses on the study of body image disorders and related issues.

Our research agenda involves studies aimed at furthering our understanding of body image disorders and issues in terms of a broad range of factors including:

  • psychological
  • neuropsychological
  • neurobiological
  • epidemiological
  • advances in treatment.
  • The BDD and Body Image group is headed up by Professor Susan Rossell and we work in collaboration with other leading researchers in the field from other institutions.
