Online videos - TVNews
The library subscribes to a database called TVNews on Informit providing online access to news, current affairs and selected documentary programs that have been broadcast on Australian television such as Four Corners, Catalyst and Cutting Edge.
Here's a Catalyst story about the development of a diagnostic test for bipolar disorder, Bi-polar disorder: the right diagnosis?, 7 min.
Another Catalyst story, Body clock, 12 min, looks at research into the body clock and the possible side-effects of trying to alter it, including increased risk of heart disease and obesity. Touches on the research in predicting manic episodes in bipolar disorder sufferers conducted by Swinburne's Greg Murray.
Online videos - YouTube
The website YouTube enables videos to be posted and viewed for free. Usually tags, describing the video, are added and these tags are searchable. Below are some useful search terms. Combine them with the term, "psychology", to limit the results to videos with this tag.

- Psychology Collection on Gale Index to a collection of journals covering psychology and related disciplines with full text provided for most articles.
- Scopus The world's largest abstract and indexing database. It also includes the journals indexed by ScienceDirect and has 100% Medline coverage. ScienceDirect Full text science database, with a strong coverage of psychology.
- Web of Science Provides access to current and retrospective multidisciplinary information from approximately 8,700 of the most prestigious, high impact research journals in the world. You can search most disciplines and time spans back to 1982 to uncover information relevant to your research.
