Creating sets of your favourite databases in My Databases

You can create personal sets of your favourite databases in Supersearch. You can add up to 10 databases to a set.

On any database list in Metasearch or Find Databases click the Add icon Add database. The icon changes to Added to my databases to show that the database has been added to your clipboard. Continue adding other databases if you wish.

Click the menu item My Space, then My Databases.

The clipboard on the right side shows databases you have added. Your personal sets are on the left side.

To save all items in your clipboard to a new set

In the right panel click the Save icon Save icon. Enter a name for the set and click Save. The new set is created and now appears in the left panel.

To create a new set

In the left panel click the New icon. Enter a name for the new set and an optional description, then click Save.

To add databases from the clipboard to an existing set

In the left panel select the set. In the right panel click the Move Move icon icon. The database is moved from the clipboard into the selected set.

To rename a set

In the left panel select the set, then click the Rename icon Rename folder icon

To delete a set and its contents

In the left panel select the set to be deleted then click the Delete icon Delete folder icon

To clear the clipboard

In the right panel click the Delete icon Delete folder icon

To search databases in your personal set

Go to Metasearch. In the Locate databases panel at the left side, click the dropdown list and select My Databases, then select a set. The databases in the set are listed below the search box.

noteWhen you add new databases to your Clipboard from Metasearch, the Clipboard does not immediately appear in the Locate Database panel. You will need to click My Space, then click Metasearch, to get the Clipboard to appear in the Locate Database panel in Metasearch.
