How to use My Library

Check your account

Log in to My Library to check your loans, renew loans and place holds.

Renew your loans

You can renew a loan any time before it is due back.
You cannot renew a loan if you have overdues, $10 or more in fines, or someone has placed a hold on it.

  1. Log in to My Library.
  2. Renew your loans in My Account.

Place a hold

You can request items that are out on loan or at a different campus.
A notice will be sent to your Swinburne email account when the item is ready to collect.
Items are kept on hold for 5 days.

  1. Log in to My Library.
  2. Find the item in the Library search.
  3. Click on the Place hold link below your item title.
  4. Select your preferred campus.
  5. Click Hold.
