Click the Reserve tab then search by subject code, instructor name, or author, title or keywords from a Reserve article.

Access and passwords

Online Reserve is only available to Swinburne students and staff. You may need to log in. Instructions for logging in will be provided on the log in screen, or you can contact ITS if you have any problems.

Viewing PDF files

All scanned articles and some articles in online databases are stored in Acrobat PDF (Portable Document Format) format. You will need Acrobat Reader software installed on the computer you are using to view the file.

When you open a PDF file in your web browser an Acrobat toolbar appears at the top of the document window. Choose Fit page width for best on screen viewing.

Getting back to the catalogue from an article

When you click a link in the catalogue to go to an online reserve article in PDF format, a redirect web page is sometimes inserted. You may see this briefly before the article loads.

This may cause problems when you try to go back. Clicking the Back button will take you to the redirection page which then sends you back the PDF article.
