Overview

The UAV project was implemented by a group of Robotics students. The aim of the project is to build a low speed, low altitude aircraft that is used for:

• Natural Disaster monitoring
• Search and rescue efforts
• Environmental Monitoring
• Coastal Surveillance

Scope

The deliverables of the projects are:

• Design and build a high endurance, low speed, low altitude aircraft
• Fit the aircraft with navigation and feedback sensors
• Design and develop path planning and communications software
