PhD and Master by Research Scholarships

To apply to undertake a Research Higher Degree (PhD or Masters), please follow the steps below:

Find a suitable supervisor within the Faculty (the Faculty Research webpage is a good starting point). If you require assistance, please contact Dr Bao Vo for advice.
Contact the potential supervisor directly for assistance with the application and drafting of a research proposal.
Complete the Application Form
Ensure supporting documentation is attached to the application form. This includes a copy of your Curriculum Vitae, a research proposal, referee contact details and the following documents which should be certified: academic transcripts, graduation certificates, proof of name and citizenship, IELTS or TOEFL result or proof that previous study was conducted in English (for International applicants) and translations of any of the above documents if not in English.
Send your complete application to Student Admissions at Swinburne University of Technology.
To apply for scholarships, new applicants should use the application form and complete the relevent section. Please provide all the documentation requested in the form. Current students should use the form available on the University's Scholarship website.
To strengthen your scholarship application, please provide evidence of any refereed publications you may have. If you have already completed a Masters by research degree, please indicate this clearly on the application form also.
