Photos of former Students and Staff

Dr Gianluca Marcelli

Luca was a PhD student from 1998-2001.  He joined CMS after obtaining a physics degree from “La Sapienza” (University of Rome) and winning an International Postgraduate Research Award (IPRS) from the Australian government.  He was awarded his PhD at a graduation ceremony on October 11, 2001.  He is currently a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Imperial College, London. The above photograph was taken on March 31, 2001 at a castle near Luca’s hometown of Netunno, Italy.

Dr Yasong Wei

Yasong (on the left) was a PhD student from 1993-1998.  She has degrees from Tshighua and Beijing Union universities.  She was awarded an Australian Postgraduate Award (APA) from the Australian government.  She is currently a software developer at Tenix.  The above photograph was taken at her graduation in May, 1999. Also in the photo is her supervisor, Prof Sadus.
