Software Development Scholarships
Summer Vacation
The Faculty of Information and Communication Technologies invites applications for software development scholarship projects this summer. You are eligible to apply if your are a Bachelor of Science (Professional Software Development) student, and have successfully completed your first year.
If successful, you will undertake a four week software development project during Summer Vacation Period, Nov. - Dec. 2006 receiving a scholarship stipend of $300 per week. You will work in teams under the supervision of Faculty staff members, and be responsible for developing small software projects. Projects may include small programs and web sites for application in future teaching periods. Each project will be designed, developed, and documented by the development teams.
The project will start on Tuesday the 28th of November, and conclude on Thursday 21st of December you will be required to attend University from 9:00am to 5:00pm Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday over the four weeks of the project. Project teams will be allocated a working space, and other appropriate resources by the University. You will be expected to attend daily meetings, develop solutions, deliver presentations, assist with the running of meetings, and other tasks as assigned by the supervising staff.

Applicants will be notified of the result of their application in the following week. Scholarship stipend: $300 per week.
Note: There are 4-6 scholarships available. Applicants will be chosen on the quality of the applications.
