Two Year Masters in Information Technology
Faculty of ICT is offering 2 year 12 unit Master degrees, available for international students in:
- Master of Technology (Information Technology); or
- Master of Information Technology (Professional Computing); or
- Master of Science (Network Systems)
One Year Bachelor of Science (Information Technology)
Polytechnic IT diploma graduates in Singapore or IVE higher diploma IT graduates in Hong Kong are able to undertake a one year fast track Bachelor of Science (Information Technology) program. Students will be able to complete either 8 units over 2 semesters or 10 units in 12 months including a summer semester. Other students who have completed the equivalent of 2-3 years Australian higher education studies in ICT may also apply.
Fast Track Bachelor of Science(Information Technology) and
Master of Information Technology
The 2 year BSc(IT) and MIT is a fast-track program designed so that students undertake a first year of BSc(IT) and a second year of MIT. The Bachelor of Science (IT) is taken as an alternative final year to a student’s program allowing an award in this discipline and 8 unit exemptions into the Master of Information Technology allowing completion in 1 year. Both programs are outstanding courses providing specialist skills and knowledge, assisting graduates to enter their ICT careers with a realistic view of the use of technology in a business orientated context.
Master of Science(Network Systems)
The 2 year MSc(Network Systems) program is for those, with a background in information systems, ICT or engineering who wish to become professional network specialists. The program provides students with an in-depth knowledge of both local and wide-area networks, emphasising the applications of each in today's business environment. The aim of this course is to provide excellent career opportunities by offering a high level coverage of networking principles and an appreciation of the emerging issues and technologies in networks. Students will undertake specific competencies in industry certification material such as CISCO CCNA, CCNP and Microsoft MCITP.
