Application Process


The Application process should take about 15 minutes to complete. You will need to select the areas in which you would like to find employment, select programming and application domains you are proficient in and provide personal details regarding the application.

When you have completed this application you will have access to 'My IBL', where you can apply for IBL placements online. All students are required to follow up this application with an interview with a representative from the Industry-Liaison Office. This interview is designed to assess your resume and your interview skills and give you some valuable feedback to increase your chances of being successful in securing an IBL placement.

Things you will need to complete this application are:

  • Your Student OPAX details
  • A resume (max 2 pages) in Microsoft Word format

If you have not undertaken the Careers in the Curriculum module, you can find useful information about constructing an appropriate resume at the Careers and Employment Unit.
