The Details...

Am I eligible?
If you are a local student studying an undergraduate course in the Faculty of Information and Communication Technologies at Swinburne then yes, you are eligible.
Do I get paid?
Yes! All ICT Students Ambassadors receive $20 per hour for a minimum of 3 hours work.
Training
We will be conducting a training session for the 15–20 successful applicants which will prepare you with everything you need to be a successful Student Ambassador.
Recognition
All ambassadors will receive a certificate of participation signed by the Faculty Dean.

We are looking for 15 - 20 outgoing and inspiring students to train as student ambassadors for the Faculty of Information and Communication Technologies. The successful ambassadors will assist the Faculty staff with recruitment activities including: Visits to schools, open day, orientation activities and assisting with education programs for school students on campus.

We will select the successful applicants from a mix of courses and study year levels who we will train in a range of presentation, interpersonal, communication and 'employment' skills. Ambassadors will be paid approximately $20 per hour for any subsequent school visits and ambassador work and will also receive a certificate of participation signed by the Faculty Dean on request.

How to Apply

Applicants please note: This form will re-direct to the central ambassador program, to apply for the ICT ambassador program please ensure that you complete the Faculty/School section by writing 'Information and Communication Technologies'. The faculty of ICT encourages first year students to apply.
