Dr. Michael Bannister
Education Manager & Program Leader, CRC-ACS
The CRC-ACS has obtained students via IAESTE since 2007 and also used their services to obtain visas for Direct Placement students since 2004. Without fail the students that have come to us have all been enthusiastic, highly motivated and have fit in very well socially in our organization.
With our opportunity to recommend the institutions the students are selected from and the chance to review the selections prior
to finalization, we have the ability to obtain students with a high
level of required technical skills.
I can recommend IAESTE’s services without reservation. |

Recruitment Constultant
URS Brisbane
For over five years, the Brisbane office has actively supported the IAESTE program. Each year we host two students within Civil Engineering and Environmental Science fields, providing a fantastic opportunity for students to develop practical skills in a supportive environment. Students are given the opportunity to interact and learn from some of the industry’s best, while working on some of Queensland’s largest high profile projects, such as the Hinze Dam Project on the Gold Coast.
The IAESTE program is exceptionally coordinated and we hope to have a continued partnership, benefiting the students and our business. |

Professor William J. Foley
Head of School of Botany and Zoology, The Australian National University
Students on the IAESTE programme are highly motivated, capable and
skilled. Their interactions with local students facilitates the networks that are so important in modern science. At a time when fewer Australian students are proceeding to graduate study, IAESTE students often stay on for longer periods of research and some actually enrol for postgraduate study at ANU based on their positive experiences. |

Research Director
CSIRO Molecular and Health Technologies
We have been involved with the IAESTE program
now for over five years. The students that have
come to our laboratories have been enthusiastic,
capable, and well liked by the staff. The variety
of cultural backgrounds has enriched our workplace
and I highly recommend the program to other employers. |

Operations
Manager
Amdel Ltd
The students have been really good value to us
and have learned a great deal while they have
been here. They have not only learned about what
we do at Amdel but all about our culture and the
aussie way of life. It has been a pleasure to
have them here. |

Associate
Professor John Sherwood,
School of Ecology and Environment, Deakin University
Deakin University has found its involvement in
IAESTE very rewarding. Not only have we been able
to provide our students with some wonderful experiences
but we have benefitted from visits by overseas
students. All have worked very conscientiously
- and taught us about their countries and cultures
first hand. |
