Pathways to Research – Electives Plus

Electives Plus combinations provide Swinburne degree students with options to broaden their career skills and strengthen their employability by selecting from units outside their degree discipline.

Research and Development units available are:

HIT1500 Introduction to Research
HET101 Research and Development Project 1
HET 201 Research and Development Project 2
HET 305 Research and Development Project 3   

Social Research units available are:

HAS317 Qualitative Research Methods
HAS318 Social Research Design
HMA100 Making Sense of Data
HASP303 Research Project

 

These features of Swinburne's Professional Learning Model are available to domestic students undertaking undergraduate bachelor degree programs offered at Swinburne's Melbourne and Sarawak campuses. Restrictions apply to international students in Australia on student visas, students admitted into programs with significant levels of advanced standing and students who undertake Swinburne programs in online/distance mode, designed and offered in conjunction with overseas or industry partners or delivered by Open Universities Australia.
